What a home visit actually looks like

“Is it really safe to do this at home?” Yes. Here is exactly what happens from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave, so there are no surprises.

Before I arrive

We will already have spoken: a WhatsApp conversation, a short medical consultation, and an agreed unit count and price. All you need to prepare is a chair with a back, near a window or a good lamp, and a clean table surface. Come with no make-up on the area if you can; if not, I will clean it. For 24 hours beforehand, avoid alcohol and, unless they have been prescribed for you, aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil, which all make bruising more likely.

Setting up

I wash my hands, lay out a sterile field on your table, and show you the product unopened. It is mixed in front of you, and the batch number goes into your file. You sign a consent form, and I take photographs for your records, which stay private. This is the same routine I would follow in a treatment room; the room is simply yours.

The treatment

I mark the injection points, then place between ten and twenty tiny injections depending on the areas we agreed. Each one feels like a quick pinprick. Ice is on hand if you want it. Including the paperwork, you can expect me to be with you for 30 to 45 minutes.

Payment

Payment is due on the day, by cash or EFT. I will give you my banking details, and an EFT from your phone takes a minute, so there is nothing to arrange in advance.

After I leave

Stay upright for four hours and do not rub or massage the area. For 24 hours, skip strenuous exercise, saunas and alcohol, and leave facials for two weeks. Small bumps settle within about 20 minutes. If anything worries you at any time, message me. At two weeks we check in, in person or by photo, to make sure everything has settled evenly.

Why home works so well

There is no waiting room and no reception to walk through, so nobody sees you arrive. Evening appointments are possible, and you can get straight back to your day. The standard of care does not change. That is the whole idea behind PS Aesthetics: they’ll notice, but they won’t know.

Ready to book, or still deciding? Either is fine. Start with a message.
